A revolution in acne treatment, an alternative to isotretinoin!

This 1726 nm laser therapy (also known as “Acne Killer”) selectively targets and destroys overactive, abnormal sebaceous glands, leading to the treatment of acne. The standard treatment consists of 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart, with the results leading to several months of remission.

This is the first laser technology approved in the USA in 2022 specifically for long-term treatment of mild, moderate, and severe acne, and in Europe since 2024.

This therapy is recommended for patients of all ages, for all skin types, and can be used regardless of the season. Pain is generally rated 2-3 on a 10-point scale by patients. The main side effect is a possible initial flare-up of acne after the first session, which gradually subsides after subsequent treatments. Minor swelling, redness, and dryness may occur immediately after the procedure, but these symptoms resolve on their own.
